Who We Are
Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc. is a Latino based fraternity built on unity, respect, and pride in where we come from. Since 1988, NAK has developed leaders who excel in the classroom, serve their communities, and honor their culture.
Chartered on April 17, 2004, the Omicron Chapter was the first non-exclusive Latino fraternity at the University of Nevada, Reno. We offer academic support, lifelong friendship, professional connection, and a family that stands with you long after graduation.
Once a NAK, always a NAK.

What We Stand On
School comes first. We hold each other to a higher standard with study hours, mentorship, and brothers who push you to walk across that stage.
We do not just talk about brotherhood, we embody it. The bond between brothers lasts far beyond your years on campus.
We celebrate and share the cultures that shape us, honoring our roots while opening our doors to all who respect them.
Our National Philanthropy
NMDP, formerly known as Be The Match, connects patients battling blood cancers and blood disorders with life saving marrow and cell donors. In partnership with NMDP, Nu Alpha Kappa champions this cause through its National Bone Marrow Drive Registry.
Only 40 percent of the NMDP Registry represents ethnically diverse donors. From registry drives to fundraisers on campus, the Omicron Chapter works to change that and give more patients a second chance at life.
